PT MRT Jakarta supports the Jakarta Government's policy of providing free public transport services on National Transportation Day, which falls on April 24.

Efforts to raise public awareness of the importance of using public transportation

The fare of Rp 1 per trip for April 24, 2025, can be paid using all payment methods via e-wallets, digital banks, credit cards, BNPL in the MyMRTJ app, MyMRTJ Lite ticket vending machines, JakLingko, and other electronic money cards.

PT MRT Jakarta's Corporate Secretary Division Head, Ahmad Pratomo said this policy is part of the Jakarta Government's efforts to encourage increased use of public transportation and strengthen its commitment to sustainable urban development.

"As part of the integrated public transportation system in Jakarta, MRT Jakarta fully supports this initiative and has coordinated with the Jakarta Transportation Agency to ensure the smooth of the program across all MRT Jakarta stations," he expressed, Wednesday (4/23).

He explained PT MRT Jakarta was committed to supporting the Jakarta Government's policy in enhancing the accessibility of public transportation that is comfortable, safe, and efficient for the community.

"This free service program is part of efforts to raise public awareness of the importance of using public transportation," he explained.

Here are the terms and conditions for the special fare of Rp 1 for National Transportation Day:

• Enjoy free MRT rides with a special fare of Rp 1 per trip only on April 24 to support the mobility of the community, especially women, in celebrating National Transportation Day

• Applicable for trips by both new and existing customers of MRT Jakarta using Electronic Money Cards from banks issued in 2019 and beyond - QR tickets from the MyMRTJ app - QR tickets from the MyMRTJ Lite vending machine at Jakarta MRT Station - Multi Trip Card (KMT) or JakLingko Card

• The special fare of Rp 1 per trip applies to female customers who own a Bank Electronic Money Card with a minimum balance of Rp 14,000

• Rp 1 per MRT trip applies to users of the MyMRTJ app that have been linked to the MartiPay, AstraPay, ISaku, DANA, GoPay e-wallets, and the blu BCA digital bank account that has a balance, Mastercard credit card, as well as Kredivo accounts that still have a limit

• Tickets for the fare of Rp 1 per trip on the MRT can also be purchased directly using the MyMRTJ Lite Ticket Vending Machine available at all MRT Jakarta stations using QRIS payment method, debit cards, and credit cards. (Specifically for purchases through the MYMRTJ Lite TVM, there is a ticket delivery service fee of Rp 2,000 for each ticket purchased)
